A selection of colourful and attractive native wild flowers, well-known for the fragrance of their flowers. Some are also notable for the scent given off freely by their leaves.
Apart from providing a fragrant part of the garden, many of the species are particularly valuable to butterflies, bees, hoverflies and other insects, as their flowers are sources of food (nectar) and/or pollen. Some flowers can be used to bring the garden’s fragrance into the home in either fresh flower arrangements or pot-pourris.
All wildflowers used are native British.
